This is unlikely to work either, since our personal email adresses are not
on 'THEIR list' [you may even be placed on it regardless of your
intentions]. Our ACN-l administrators try to prevent spam and will try to
follow things up - even if spammers agree to stop sending off-topic ads,
it's likely that new spammers will show up once in a while.

Sending flames to spammers is usually ineffective too since they are used
to it and can handle it quite easily.

I know it's a pain but please be patient and use your delete key!

[Responding to the list will only increase off-topic messages. It's a
valid option to complain at <owner-ACN-L at pinetree.org> but as
indicated above, spams are routinely followed up upon...]
